About this site

uuid.withuse.io is a free online UUID generator supporting versions 1, 3, 4, 5 and 7, built for developers who need identifiers quickly — without ads in the way, without sign-ups, and without their data leaving the browser.

Why we built it

This is the first tool from Withuse. Our name carries our mission: build useful things (use), together (with) — small, genuinely helpful tools that make the web a little better.

Principles

• Client-side only — generation happens in your browser using the Web Crypto API. Nothing is sent to a server.
• Free forever — no accounts, no limits that matter.
• Standards-first — implementations follow RFC 9562.
